Lion hunting is a winter sport which takes place on snow. This is strictly with hounds and can be very rigorous depending on the chase.
Mountain lion is a very special trophy that most sportsmen never get the opportunity to hunt.

Lion may be hunted with your choice of gun or bow. Licenses are unlimited, but hunting is on a quota basis.

Our area has an increasing number of mountain lion and our hunts have been very successful.

December Thru March are the best months for mountain lion.
